Available Roles:

Information stall

• Supporting visitors with information about Cody Dock and volunteering opportunities.
• Information about the event, the programme and timed walks.
• Selling postcards, way-finding.
• Lost children & First Aid – (radio for help from event coordinator).
• Crowd control – notice if there are ‘bottlenecks’ in other areas, unsupervised children, climbing on structures etc, and radio for help as required.
• Please don’t leave your post unmanned, there are floating stewards to give you breaks!

Bakery Stall

• Selling bakery items (cash & cards)
• Basic hygiene (serving and hands) covered in induction
• Where to find allergen information
• Crowd control – notice if there are ‘bottlenecks’ in other areas, unsupervised children, climbing on structures etc & radio for help as required.
• Please don’t leave your post unmanned, there are floating stewards to give you breaks!

Crafting Workshop support

• Supporting the workshop leader
• Ensure safe access to equipment
• Keeping space clear, no trip hazards
• Crowd control – notice if there are ‘bottlenecks’ in other areas, unsupervised children, climbing on structures etc & radio for help as required.
• Please don’t leave your post unmanned, there are floating stewards to give you breaks!

Event Stewards

• Crowd control – notice if there are ‘bottlenecks’ in other areas, unsupervised children, climbing on structures etc & radio for help as required. Safety from falling into river
• Safety at entrances/exits to site or specific areas
• Way-finding
• Please don’t leave your post unmanned, there are floating stewards to give you breaks!

Exhibition Stewards

• For Frederick Kitchen ship tours in the Cody Dock boatyard
• For micro-cinema film screenings on board the floating hide within Cody Dock.
