Calling all potential Environmental Educators!
Ever wanted to work with kids in an outdoor setting but never had the chance? We’re looking for Environmental Education Volunteers to support us with our School and Youth Events in 2025.
Sign up to help deliver our regular school sessions, events and youth workshops from this June.
This opportunity is open to anyone over the age of 16.
About the Role
Volunteers will be assisting our Cody Wild Education Programme with school groups in years 3 – 6, as well as supporting our Youth Workshops for 11 – 18 year olds over Summer. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays (9 – 2 pm) or (1 – 4 pm), where we’ll be running hands-on activities examining the dynamic wildlife and heritage found along the lower River Lea.
We’ll support your journey through safeguarding training, DBS checks and regular check-ins. You’ll also be invited to join our online platform, receive regular newsletters with events and opportunities, take part in volunteer events and become part of the wider Cody Dock community.
We are offering complete flexibility with how much you would like to be involved, however, please note we require a minimum commitment of three days across the programme period. You must also complete our training day on 28th May (details below).
