Cody Makers!

Do you love to make things and craft? Maybe you are bored sitting at home and want to try new projects, getting messy with cardboard, glue, fabrics and paints. If so, we would love you to join us! Cody Makers is your opportunity to get crafty, learn new skills and have fun with our community, online.

Visit our Cody Makers Page here!

Sign up to a work shop here!

You don’t need any experience or expensive equipment, our zoom sessions are run by Cody Maker’s project lead Abi Bown who will be there to guide you. Abi is a local maker who loves to upcycle junk into useful things, she’s ready to meet you online and have some fun crafting with materials you can find at home.

It’s not possible to get out and about much these days, so getting together over zoom can be a great way to make friends and share ideas. It’s easy to do!

Each Week over a 2hr session we will make things that reflect the changing seasons down at Cody Dock. We will build bird feeders, decorate planters for bulbs and flowers, play with fabric and wool to weave some creativity into your day.

Whether we create masterpieces or not, we can all feel proud of what we’ve made and have fun chatting with others! Share your makes on instagram with the hashtag #codymakers

Maker sessions are run on Wednesdays 11am – 1pm.

If you don’t have time for a Wednesday Project or would like to meet Abi and say hello first, you can join our Cody Makers Round-Up sessions on Thursdays 2pm – 3pm.

This is a relaxed drop-in zoom session where we can all chat, drink tea and get inspired.

Sit back and relax with your own project or why not add to the Cody picnic blanket with a patchworked or knitted square – Abi will explain how!
