Welcome the change in season with Spring Forward at Cody Dock, a celebratory day of arts workshops, community science activities, walking tours DJs and more!
There will be an immersive sonic art installation and we’ll be giving out the awards for the winners of our annual photographic competition. See our Rolling Bridge in action at 2:30 pm or join one of our walking tours or workshops which are running throughout the day. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Badly Wired, who will be spinning tunes and creating soundscapes from the Hot Tub Stage.
Refreshments and food from the Riverside Cafe, Cody Dock Bakery and the Cody Dock Bar will be available to enjoy. Please come and join us for a joyful day of making and exploring!

Walking tours
All start from the Rolling bridge
- Dock Restoration Tour with Wolfgang our dock restoration manager from 1pm.
- Join Evie, our Education Officer for a Signs of Spring Walk along the River Lea at 2pm.
- Join Gino, our Biodiversity Officer, to Listen to the sounds of Cody Dock. Drawing inspiration from the art commission by artist Action Pyramid we will meet in the Volunteer Hangout space, then go on a sonic adventure around Cody Dock to discover the natural, industrial, and social soundscapes that are an integral part of our urban ecology. 30 minute sessions starting at midday and 3pm.
