Join us for a Survey of nocturnal pollinators! Help us record the incredible moth species living in and around the Cody Dock reedbed!

🌙 Ahead of our reedbed restoration work help us uncover, record and document the incredible moth species living within the Cody Dock reedbed. By checking our overnight moth traps together, you’ll sharpen your species identification skills and contribute to our dataset in a relaxed, informal setting.

  • Chance to chat to our Biodiversity Officers

🍃What we’re looking for from our survey volunteers:

  • An interest in biodiversity/ecology/entomology
  • This event is 18+ years only
  • Bring a reusable water bottle and/or coffee cup, and a packed lunch or money for the cafe.

First time at Cody Dock?

Please complete our Volunteer Agreement and arrive at 10.00 am for a mandatory site induction!

How to get to Cody Dock

  • Cody Dock is a 6 minute walk from Star Lane DLR Station. The DLR is a fully accessible public transport network with step-free access into all stations. Use the Stephenson Street exit from Star Lane station (the exit to the left) when departing from the platform. 
  • Parking reserved for those with special access needs: On-site parking available upon request in advance. Please contact the event manager in advance. 

Please be advised that street parking Monday – Saturday 8 am – 6.30 pm is paid by phone with a max stay of 4 hours.
