Join us for our free Open House event, where activities will include:

  • All day: volunteering hub to find out more about what’s happening and how you can get involved;
  • Various times: tours of the Cody Dock 2.5 acre site including viewing our newly renovated 90-person capacity double-decker boat ‘The River Princess’ available for environmental cruises, school trips, community, corporate and private events (with fully licensed bar).
  • 2 – 3 p.m. each day: Foraging walk with ecology facilitator Ben Bishop who carries out vital activities such as environmental auditing and water testing.
  • 1- 5 p.m. each day: Learn about bees, honey making and candle rolling  with local beekeeper Simon Nicholson. Honey produced from the Cody Dock rooftop beehive on sale.
  • New River Lea photo exhibition featuring powerful images published in the hot off the press Cody Dock 2019 calendar – also on sale at our ‘gift shop’.
  • Nadia’s riverside pop-up café open throughout serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, snacks and a choice of tasty lunches.
  • The Cody Dock bar serving wine, beer and spirits midday – 5 p.m. each day.
