The Cody Dock Frost Fair
28th November, 11 – 6pm
It’s the time of year when we all start thinking about Christmas so why not join us at the Cody Dock Frost Fair?
We have invited local crafters and independent businesses to showcase their work at the Frost Fair. We love what they do and think you will too, you might even find a few Christmas presents to take home.
You will be able to browse stalls with home decor, clothes & accessories, jewellery, books, ceramics, knitwear, toys and much more. You can even have your bike fixed by Tower Hamlets Wheelers and get ready for next season!
If you’re feeling crafty we have free wreath making and beeswax candle rolling workshops, and if you get hungry, grab some food from the German Deli or Cody Dock Cafe. We particularly recommend our speciality: vegan, gluten free Bhajis and a jar of chilli sauce for later.
There will even be a fantastic fortune teller at the fair (don’t miss out on an opportunity to see what the future may bring!), and in the afternoon and evening settle down by the campfire for some live music.
The Frost Fair is also a perfect time to visit Cody Dock and explore our new exhibition The Story of Water which addresses the impacts of human activities on our environment, specifically waterways the ones around the Dock.
Last but not least you will have a unique chance to adopt a tree and plant it in your garden or neighbourhood, making Newham greener and cleaner!
