Help us keep our local environment clean! We’re organising a cleanup on Sunday, September 1st at Cody Dock.

River Cleanup: We’re looking for seven experienced canoers to help us tackle the riverbed. If you have canoeing experience and are confident on the water, please sign up! We’ll pair you with someone less experienced to share your knowledge. Spaces are limited, so early sign-up is advised.

Towpath Cleanup: Everyone is welcome to join the towpath cleanup! No experience is needed. We’ll provide all the equipment and necessary training.

Schedule:

New volunteers: Please arrive at 10:00 am for an induction session. This will run until 10:30 am.

Returning volunteers: Please arrive at 10:30 am.

11 am – 12 pm: We’ll start with a welcome, cover health and safety, and gather tools.

12 pm – 3 pm: Let’s get to work! We’ll be tackling litter.

3 pm – 4 pm: We’ll tidy up and enjoy a delicious community meal prepared by our amazing gardening team.
