Bumblebee ID Workshop
Friday 15 March, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
We are looking for a few people to help us monitor the bumblebees of Cody Dock and the surrounding industrial estate. The information collected by volunteers is integral to monitoring how bumblebee populations change over time and will allow us to detect early warning signs of population declines, as well as contribute to important long-term monitoring of bumblebee population changes in response to changes in land use and climate change.
This data will be added to the national monitoring scheme run by Bumblebee Conservation Trust as part of their Buzzing in the East End project.
Email us to book a free place at this workshop and learn how to identify bumblebees and contribute to our community science programme. No experience necessary.
