Justin from Good Gym is running in the London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021 to help Gasworks Dock Partnership raise funds for the construction of a purpose-built visitor centre at Cody Dock.
Justin, a regular Cody Dock volunteer said:
“The work they are doing to create an inclusive community space is amazing – this visitor centre will provide a much needed focal point to bring people together from the local and surrounding areas”
Why build the Visitor Centre?
Building an environmentally sensitive visitors centre will help Cody Dock promote greater health & wellbeing for people in Newham and Tower Hamlets. Open all year, this community hub will enable us to cater for environmental groups, colleges and East London based universities whilst also providing a much needed social oasis for local people who may otherwise feel socially isolated.
