We have 2 exciting 6-month placements to join our fantastic Dock Restoration Project. You will learn traditional brick working techniques, working in different construction scenarios as part of a team, using hand and power tools and learning the process of planning, risk assessments and method statements. Cody Dock will provide induction and training with all tasks including working in harnesses, use of tools and scaffold towers.

We are looking for motivated individuals with an eagerness to learn, who are interested in our charities wider aims of social inclusion and being involved in the regeneration of Cody Dock.

We’re working in partnership with Charityworks, the UK-non-profit sector’s Kickstart gateway as part of a collaborative effort to power up our sector with exceptional talent and make a real impact on youth unemployment.

Each role includes a supported 6-month development programme delivered by Charityworks. The programme will equip you with the connections, experiences, tools and insight needed to succeed at work, help you to build a peer community of fellows and give you the skills to transition well beyond the placement, and develop long term careers in the non-profit sector.

The Kickstart Scheme is a programme specifically designed to help young people currently claiming Universal Credit and who are looking for an entry level position in a professional role and environment.
