Big Garden Birdwatch 2019

Get involved in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch at Cody Dock. Help collect valuable data to protect and promote wildlife in the local area.
A great chance to learn about local bird species and your local environment. Free refreshments and resources provided.

Come down between 09:00 and 18:00 and grab a survey sheet, a field guide and get going. We will be here to provided  insight into the local area, habitats and species. Resources will be available to ensure you have the best chance at spotting rarer birds!

Tips, tricks and advice will be provided throughout the. An opportunity to learn or improve bird identification and data gathering skills whilst  taking part in increasing local biodiversity information. A great way to spend the day with family and friends.

Last year members of the community and children from Keir Hardy Primary School identified 49 species of bird around site and along the river!
